Sunday morning music

no sleeping tonight

Great, Nicole somehow got me watching Blair Witch Project instead of sleeping and now I won't be sleeping tonight.

My soul is very fragile and there's a crack or a dent or whatever.

This will totally haunt me for the rest of my life...great.

empty halloween

wonder what I can do tomorrow?
When you talk and you're never heard. Should you continue to speak?

6 hours

Came home around 9pm something. 6 hours of chilling. That's a first for a LONG time.

You either like me, or you don't.

You either get along with me, or you don't.

It's one way or the other. There are not exceptions.
At least that's what I think.

spare block

In a math 9/10 class on the computer!

Waiting for sister to come pick me up and for Narada to get off. Haha.

Today, I have accomplished a lot.
Got over TOK.
Settled on idea for Art.
Went to meeting.

No math homework, for once! No bio homework either (but there's bio lab!). No English, since I have already prep-ed. Isn't that weird? I did homework beforehand. Haha....

more and more in love

I love Kurt more and more! He's so talented.

lack lack of sleep

Today, I was only powered by 3-4 hours of sleep, I can't even remember! -sigh- The whole day, I felt terrible and kept zoning out. Well, actually, during TOK I was still okay because the shower effect was still lasting. I guess around the middle of Art, I started getting more tired, plus...the rainy weather didn't help since I tend to sleep better when it rains, so yeah.

Throughout History, I kept dozing off and I had to play with a rubber band to stay awake, though not focused. I didn't even want to bother to draw much, so yeah...that sucks.

I woke up for a few minutes now from my 4-hour nap. Hopefully, I can sleep earlier tonight...but there's new episode of GLEE!
I only have math homework, bio prep, and English prep. Not bad. -sigh- Finally, my Sunday and Monday are over...those were the 'busy' times of my chilled out schedule. Anyways, time to find something to eat!

Their love is so beautiful and heart-breaking.
Just gotta love them. <3

Waiting for...

...a phone call from my dad.

Was just watching the newest episode of The Amazing Race. Totally supporting Team Jumba. I think I'm also rooting for the pair of Doctors as well. Yupyup~

Should be doing my homework, but yeah...-sigh- I'm procrastinating too much! Even though I know I'm going to die if I do...

raining depression

Just came home. Was at the airport to see my dad off. Turns out, his flight wasn't tomorrow, but today morning 1:55am. My sister and I car cruised till now ish, for about half an hour. Even the sky is crying with us. Haha. -sigh- At first, my dad thought it was Monday, turns out it was Sunday, but didn't expect it to be 1:55am...until he checked the ticket around 11:00pm...and just hurriedly packed while my sister and I dressed and all that.

We went to the airport and sat for an hour or so, talking and stuff while my dad had his last smoke before his flight (complaining about that 10 hour of non-smoking -sigh-).

We had Teppanyaki for dinner! So full.

My dad bought everyday before he left. Haagen-Dazs ice cream, Moosetrack ice cream, fish tofu, materials to make soup (I made soup today! He taught me.), noodles, sauce, snacks, everything! Everything is set.

-sigh- Depressed. In the end, my dad still managed to make me laugh like an idiot before he left. Haha, I shall share some of his jokes tomorrow since I'm SO sleepy.

For this whole long weekend, I didn't do any homework -sigh- So going to die tomorrow. Main things to do: Prep for Bio and study for math test.
Homework: Japanese project, TOK project, History Questions, History Cartoon, Art research pages, Math homework, English Attorney prep, Vivian's homework.

The perfect day...not

Thanks for ruining my day. Totally wasted my long weekend. Done nothing on my last day, wasted my yesterday, and ruined my today. What's next?

What happened to asking for permission first? Where have all the manners, etiquette, respect (and etc.) gone?
Thank for being considerate.

What sucks?

When people don't pick up their phone and it's an emergency.

At the moment, I'm very angry and frustrated because @&$*#&*#)%( not picking up phone and being very irresponsible. I hate last minute planning. Because of all this, I can't tell my family when I need to do blah blah blah and THEY can't do blah blah blah. My whole family is depending on that one answer and no one responsible for it is giving it to me!!

Thursday, October 21, 2010

What a gloomy day. It's somewhat affecting my mood as well. Well, I'm just not really happy about certain things, not school related. Got 90% for my history essay, but that doesn't exactly make me happy because I know it's not really THAT be honest. Even if I get 100%, I won't be happy since I know the quality of my work isn't worth an IB 100% = 7. Especially since it wasn't edited either and trust me, my unedited works are terrible...esp when it's handwritten.

So many things to do, so little time. This always happens. So tired too. -sigh-

once you...

start making up excuses, you know you're being a sore loser.

I finished the 30-day challenge! Feel that I should announce that. Yay! -cheers- Congratz to you, Mr. Tom as well~

This week is going to be a stressful week along with the first half of next week...for now.

Wednesday: Bio test, Bio WB (so horserice!), Math hwk (which I'm deciding on doing or not...maybe half? I freak out when he asks to check), English project (work on...), Free the Kids @ lunch, after school TOK movie.

Thursday: History questions, 2 Art research pages, Japanese Kanji test?, TOK project (maybe), CAS reflection, Lunch library orientation.

Monday: Japanese stuff at lunch

Tuesday: Japanese project, History Questions, TOK project (maybe).

Doesn't seem too bad, but History questions...the reading and answering can get quite annoying and though it's easy...takes a while. English Project, I am still confused at what I am to do so I think I will be needing to talk to A LOT of people and get all my evidence and witnesses in order. The Art research actually takes a lot of work for decorating and all that.

there was no electricity for a bit... i took a nap :D

Curry for dinner~~

new stalkers stalking me, great. -shivers-

homework, homework! Though there's an upcoming Pro-D Day, the homework pile is increasing in width and height. Ugh.

TOK project, what should I do with you? -sigh- I think I might do my CAS journals online on blogspot or something. Typing is much faster for me and much neater as well. Japanese project and now there's an English project. Must work on Japanese today and English tomorrow. I'm still a little confused about English.

I realized I don't know a certain someone in my English class. He's so loud and kept playing rock, paper, scissors while ignoring my question and worst of all, sticking his freakin' butt in my face. Thanks, dude. I was so tempted to just kick him in the butt and let him hit his face on the desks. That'll teach him not to mess with me.

What bugs me...

people who raise their hand to say the exact same thing as the previous person...just rewording it. Worst of all: saying: "Oh, I was going to say what she/he was going to say."
How original. Sure you were, sure you were.

--Technically, depending on the situation, it's likely, but there are times where it's obvious you were NOT going to say what the previous person was going to say. You just want to verbally plagiarize, yet somewhat give a vague source to prove you're NOT plagiarizing completely...but still getting the little 'credit' from the teacher that you're participating.

Yes, you use the "I was going to say what she/he was going to say" technique when you want to participate, but don't want to say anything or have nothing intelligent and original to say. Tricky, very tricky...

Day 30 - Who are you?

That is a question, I can't really answer...but this will cover most of it: I am a clever, wicked, awesome, and the most wonderful genius/mafia boss/king/ruler of the world. Of course, the amazingness I possess cannot be put into words so please just stick to that.

Cold feet for the whole day. D:

catch up

Day 25 - What I would find in your bag
For school: binder, folder, paper, pencil case, bottle of water, sci calc (day 1: graphing calc too), agenda, metamorphosis (to finish reading), candies, packet of tissue, wallet, spare headphones, pepper (no idea why...just gotta have the herbs), tide to go, coin bag, and lotion.

Out: candies, wallet, coin bag, pen, mini notepad or something, and more candy.

Day 26 - What you think about your friends
They're weirdos...kidding!...ish. Haha. They're awesome people who gets high at random times and on random things. I think every one of my friend is different from the other, amazes me how I can befriend so many different people. Makes me laugh everyday till I feel like an idiot. Every one of them are all so unique and wicked!

Day 27 - Why are you doing this 30 day challenge
I wanted to keep up my daily blogging, which failed since now I'm catching up...totally defeating the purpose of this, haha. Also, I like answering these kind of questionnaire thingies.

Day 28 - A picture of you last year and now, how have you changed since then?

Hairstyle change for sure. I haven't touched my hair for a whole year :D The left side was last year after going back to Hong Kong and attempting to be tomboy-ish, but failed because I wasn't cool enough. Right side is during the summer, but now I have gotten a bit more tanned. Aren't you shocked I used my real picture instead of Prince Hata as replacement? I was going to use Prince Hata again, but didn't know what to do as the alternate changed picture...

Day 29 - In this past month, what have you learned
Learned that IB students are weirdos. There are I-Believers, I-Bombers, I-Bashers, and well as many other times of IB students. This past month, I'm barely surviving since the first few weeks I was sick to death and was complaining endlessly like an old lady, then had to keep going to the doctors because I got sick again and did some stuff. Just this week, I died, badly. -sigh- Learned many things, could go on, but I should be sleeping...

Truth about 20th Century Fox

That's where all the unicorns are!!

Nina l'Elixir

(I haven't been perfume stalking and I know this has been released a month ago but...) Oh my gosh! This commercial is absolutely adorable~ I love it! Very Alice in Wonderland-ish. So fairytail. The snow globe from the beginning reminds me of Snow White? I have no idea why. Also kind of like Little Mermaid? When Ursala watches Ariel. The waking up is like Sleeping Beauty. The forest part is like Snow White and Alice in Wonderland (with the picture frames). I could go on and on, pointing out the cute stuff (the apples and presents!), but yeah. Ah, I have to mention how I love her cute dress! The overall look is so Rapunzel-like. Love her hair and just the color scheme of this advertisement. Pink, gray-ish, red, white, I would describe it as a little dull since the red of the apple is the most vibrant color. Anyways, her overall look I like-like!

Such a cheery and uplifting song. Apple Tree :D

5 hours 2 dead

Yesterday and today, I have been powering on 5 hours of sleep. Totally didn't work. During the lunch orientation, my words, I think, were meshing together and I practically ran into a book stand. That was very uncool and yeah, bad example for the new monitors.

So hardcore and tired the last 2 days. Wednesday night, I was doing some work for my dad so then I had to push my math studying later. I am so dying in math and not too sure with the graphic calculator so my sister was teacher me. She was yelling at me about how stupid I am and I was yelling at her to teach me and stop calling me stupid and then basically, we went nowhere. Plus, there were certain parts of chapter 4 I wasn't certain with and so I had to relearn everything on my own...which I'm really slow at. Ended up sleeping around 1am since I was also doing something else and had to do some practice questions, to make sure I understand the stuff, late.

Yesterday, I was working of stuff for my dad again, but it was really quick yesterday. Then I quickly finished my history questions, which didn't work out since I was being distracted and was on the phone while reading manga. Hey, I really couldn't resist. Naruto, Reborn AND One Piece came out!! The ultimate combo! I must be a saint to not read yesterday's update. Anyways, the questions were really quick and easy. I spent about 6pm - 9pm working on my art project. I finished around 9pm and was planning to go to bed, but I felt something was missing in my art and was thinking about it for hours. I think it was around 10:30pm ish, I finally got some ideas and ended up sketching bits and pieces of it to see if it's good enough to be fine-lined, which took about an hour or so.

I got my final, 'perfect' idea...I finished it around 12:30 and took about an half an hour or so to clean up and prepare for bed. -sigh-
So tired. Kept feeling like falling asleep throughout classes. Like yesterday during Bio and during the Math test. I was so awake for English though since I love English classes. Today, I was sleepy during ToK, Japanese, Art and History. Basically, my whole day. Art was amazing though, everyone is so good! I feel like mine was not even worthy of being presented nor compared to the others. -sigh-

Anyways, should catch up on my 30-day challenge!

A letter to your parents

Dear Parents,

I don't want to.

Monday, October 11, 2010

this is why i love Dory...

Hey there Mr. Grumpy Gills...

'Okay, you know you're really cute, but I don't understand a word you're saying..."

Something you crave for a lot

I crave for anime, manga a lot. As well as potato. I have a potato/french fries obsession and I'm totally not joking. Ah, I love mayonnaise~~ :P
Candies, for sure. Chips as well. Mostly unhealthy things, but hey, I doubt you're ever find a kid craving for broccoli and celery. -shivers-

Watched Salt :D

two two

Watched 2 movies today!

Cirque du Freak: Vampire's Assistant and The Expendables. I watched The Expendables with my dad. Now I know why it's rated...I think probably R? A lot of swearing and quite bloody. I guess it didn't really matter much to me since I have been exposed to quite a lot of violent things when I was younger, but I do hope kids younger than I am did not watch that.

I did not think The Expendables was amazing, story-wise, but as for the was WICKED!! Well, you basically watch for the action, I love the weapons and of course, the Hollywood explosions. Some parts are definitely fake and stuff...very unlikely, but yeah. Quite a nice flick to watch with my dad, haha. We were laughing at how stupid the dude was...

Anyways, as for Vampire's Assistant, parts of it was okay, some parts were cheesey. At point, the acting was very amateur and cheesey. I love Ken Watanabe, one of the reason why I wanted to watch. Plus, the guy from Zathura was in it. I love some of the 'freaks' in the movie. xP
Back to Ken Watanabe, the movies he's in (that I have seen) is amazing. The Last Samurai was the first I have seen of his, along with Tom Cruise, and it was so touching. I watched it twice on the airplane (Cathay) and cried both times...well, 2 and 1/2 times since I had to get off the plane. People probably think I was retarted since it was about dinner time and I was crying.

Ken Watanabe is also in Inception, as the old man from the beginning, and the Japanese company guy who wants the idea 'planted' in the brain. Another popular one he's in (that I have been wanting to see) is Letters From Iwo Jima and also Memoirs of a Geisha. His more notable roles are often the emotional and tragic ones.

Anyhow, I didn't do homework -sigh- I should really start my art project...well, work on it more. So much work, so little time...more like, I have been wasting time. Did nothing, but non-stop eating. Gah, going to be fat soon!

What makes you different from everyone else

Hmmm...I think I'm different because I'm a crazy anime watching freak and a complaining blogger at the same time. Currently, in our generation, I'm one of the 'different' people who don't care about grades at all. Like honestly, I really don't care about whether I'm getting 99% or 66% as long as I get by and my parents are happy...ish. Still trying my hardest to find a way around school and watch anime while getting by with life while others are struggling to get into good universities and become doctors, lawyers or whatever...heads of the world. I prefer ummm...having 'fun' and not breaking my back. :D

I'm so proud of myself.. :')

I contradict myself so much. D: That makes me different too...? Well, I know many people contradicts themselves too, but yeah...don't really know how to explain it. Anyways, I'm different ish...because I'm a bunch of weird things combined into me.

One day, I will be able to explain this properly, but for now...stick to whatever makes sense up there ^.

Cheesecake later tonight :)
Cole is craving for it since last night. Haha. If anyone decides to take a break from IB and go eat cheesecake with me, call me up :D

I love how the IB victims are uniting together because of their pain and suffers. It's amazing.

Saturday, October 9, 2010

Haha, I came across this while look for volunteering for CAS.

A picture of something that makes you happy

(instead of picture, i have 2 videos)

Someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future

I see myself marrying a mafia boss :D~ actually, I don't see anyone, but I wish it would be a mafia boss. :P
To be honest, I really don' t know. One thing's for sure...he can cook :D
Ah, and he has a nice hand~~

I remember having this long list to criteria for 'the perfect guy'. Muhahahaha.

Thursday, October 7, 2010

Nicknames you have; why do you have them.

When I was younger, I use to be called 妹妹 by everyone (my parents and my little brother as well). That was because I was tiny and I don't know...just caught on. So yeah, now, no one calls me that anymore...other than my godmother.
Keiko use to be my old Japanese name I used online. After many translation of the last character of my Chinese name, I have come to Akira...which is what I used now. I do think it fits me more...o-o''' Keiko seems way too 'child-like' and feminine for me. 'Ko' in Japanese names is child...I believe Keiko is 'loved one'. I chose that before because I love the name Kei, but it was a guy's name so I decided to go with Keiko. Anyways, yeah.
Akira's kanji character is quiet while my Chinese character is almost the same...just with a different accent. It's 'jing' as in crystal's 'jing' while Akira is the calm one. o-o'' Quite different if you think about it...but it was the closest I got.
and for...
icekuran = I love the cold and kuran from when I was obsessed with Kaname Kuran

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

So asian today...

I just came home from a Chinese doctor (I mean, actual traditional Chinese kind of doctor...) and now I'm eating BBQ pork bun dim sum and drinking authentic _____ mushroom soup and stuff that my dad made. :D

Day 18 - Plans/dreams/goals you have

Ummmm....I have many dreams, plans, and goals. One of them is obviously taking over the world and become a mafia boss, as you all know.
Another is to be successful? I don't know. I do plan to go to a GazettE concert before I die and to own a Lamborghini. Stuff like that.

For now, my goal is to survive IB with my limbs all intact and I guess...go into University? I don't know, I feel that personally, I don't really want to go into University. I'm just doing it because everyone is and...feels like an obligation, something I must do in order to complete my role as kid. If I could choose, REALLY choose, I would prefer to just do whatever I want...which I'm allowed to, just that there will be a lot of...problems. This sucks.

I have been complaining to my dad about how it's so unfair that back in the days, finishing high school is already: "Wow!", but now...even if you finish University, it's still an uncertainty whether you will be guaranteed a good job or not.

Another picture of yourself

Again?!?!? D: I really don't take much photos...this is hard. ==''

Someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why

I would want to switch life with...ummm...a rock so I don't have to do anything. ...

Joking. xD
To be honest, there are many people I want to switch lives with. I guess just so I can experience how it feels like to be that person and...interest-wise. Someone I really have to switch lives with is ummm...Dakota Fanning, I guess. She's the one I can think of right now in my brain-throbbing-like-crazy mind. Why? Because Dakota is born in the same year as me and yeah, she's pretty much mine/'our' age and her world is completely different compared to ours. I want to see how different our lives are and how much better/worst it me. Something like that.

If now, I also want to switch lives with Jenna Dewan because I want to be married to Channing Tatum. xP Yay! Haha, kidding...I think.

Monday, October 4, 2010

again...sick still

My coughing isn't gone yet, but my cold is almost!! Only a headache this morning, but yeah. Feeling WAY better. -cheers-. Time to do bio and look over math a bit. I do my 30 challenge thing tomorrow...or later.

Sunday, October 3, 2010

Years later...

...when everything is more advanced and we won't have to go to school, but just install everything we need to know in our minds (like what they do in Matrix), I would be like:

"When I was your age, I had to go to school and sit in a four-sided room for hours. We had to take pathetic tests to confirm that we learned."

Put your iPod on shuffle: First 10 songs that play
(sadly, it's not my full song list...)

movie morning?

I managed to wake up quite early, noon, on a weekend! Usually, I would try and sleep till 2pm or so, but anyways...since I woke early, I managed to watch a movie! Yay. I miss my movie marathons. Anyways, War of the Worlds was airing! Good ol' Tom Cruise and the young little Dakota Fanning. Now she's all grown up. It's still hard to imagine Tom Cruise is already 48 and Dakota is actually the same age as us. She seems so much more mature now...well, at least much more mature than I am.

I realized this is the first time I actually sat through War of the Worlds. I have seen it before, but never like...together. I actually first saw it in Hong Kong, Pearl TV, on a Sunday. By the time I discovered it, it was almost the end and the other time I saw it, was the beginning. I never really seen the middle, only snip its of it from some other time. So yeah, finally, I have seen the whole movie! As a whole!!

Sadly, I wanted to watch The Mummy Return, but it was airing around the middle of War of the Worlds and I couldn't bear to leave it. Both movies are really well made. I remember being really scared when I first watched The Mummy Return. Scorpions -shivers-. Made me so scared of beetles, Scarab and all that. Shakespeare in Love was also airing on channel 88, but was rated R (for mature content) and at the same time as WoW (haha, not World of Warcraft), so I didn't watch it - probably will another time...when I'm more mature minded.

Overall, I think the movie was really nice. Quite...scary if you think about it. Like, if that actually happened...-shivers-. The music definitely made part of it very tense (the probe searching the basement), but I think the beginning...when the tripod was using vaporizing was quite fake. Like, it's really impossible for Tom Cruise not to die and be so near the people who did...that bothered me. Other than's actually quite realistic, the reactions of people. I like. -evilsmile-

Day 13 - A letter to someone who has hurt you recently

Dear Person who has hurt me,

You suck. My thigh actually hurts, you demon! Though you won't be reading this, go suffer from my germs...which you brought on to yourself by using the stupid same cup as me (which I have already warned you not to use). -angry- I shall continue to insult you.

The person with the sore thighs.

Day 14 - A picture of you and your family

I will fill this in later on...
