Happened to me a lot :), but not as much any more since I don't talk as frequently nowadays. I usually just went quiet since it's embarrassing to yourself. The right thing to do would probably be to get everybody's attention, and then continue talking.
It's hard. Maybe I should keep quiet too. It kills you when you talk but nobody hears. O-O''' Hard to get everyone's attention. Especially those you don't always talk to and don't know very well.
Most of the times it happens to me is during group discussions in class, 3-8 people. Just raise your hands a clap loudly a few times, then say: "Please dont interrupt me". ;P It works, but you feel weird doing it.
