braces?

Not too sure if I should get braces, although it's not necessary.

Went to the dentist today. learned that i actually only have two wisdom teeth! lucky me :)
unlucky me, one of the wisdom teeth has some issues...so i will be needing to see a specialist.

-sigh- realized i have so many problems. health problems ish?
need to see my report tomorrow and probably, it's nothing big.

so much to do before school starts! still a little antsy about everything and orientation will be this wednesday and thursday. makes me more crazy about getting textbooks or not.
never knew i'm this big of a worry-wart...actually, yeah, i am. every beginning of the year, i feel this way.

first paycheck on sept 2nd.
wait for my excitement! already have a list of what to do with my paycheck before even getting it! hah! :)

work tomorrow so i will be watching some tudors and resting my feet before going to bed. nights

  1. UAAAHHHH finally caught up with reading all the old blog posts I missed :p if only this was a livejournal~ i would prob remember to check more often because its in my top sites whenever i open up chrome.

ANYYWAAY feel like meeting you to talk for an afternoon in a nice cafe or something with comfy couchesssssss. not too quiet not too loud.

and actually, tbh, braces probably changed my life...you start to smile more :p thats always a good thing.

and two of my wisdom tooth grewww..(both on my left side) the dentist saw them but i didnt really catch on what he said (ooops!) . but they didnt tell me i need to pull them out..so i don't know. T_T hope nothing is wrongggg. i think im supposed to have four..i guess right side is not growing yet. teeth always scary thing, but honestly without dentists fixing and protecting your teeth, life would suck.

im moving in dorms soooooooooooooon :D. if you have a day off (my thurs are off), come visit me :P my classes dont go into night, except on tues.
other days i go into ~3 (Just like high school!! haha) and i believe friday my classes end around noon.

im kinda excited but prepared for discomfort. im quite pampered at home...but i really hope i get to feel more grateful towards my family taking care of me all these years and things after i experience dorm life..and i also want to taste more freedom, meet new people (hopefully some international kids~ that'll be interesting).

ghaha you won't believe all the 'life talks' my bro's been giving me on the phone and stuff (since he stayed in canada when i was in china, and he went to alberta few days before i came back) im glad he talked to me about all those things, even tho he does talk for a really long time..ahhaha. he even got me my first laptop! when he was proposing a laptop double the price of the one i showed him to get for me, i was very touched.

how about i share one of his "life tips" hahah :p
the one i can think of right off the top of my head is....even if you have friends from highschool in your classes, don't just try to stick to the same group of people. try to meet new people and dont be afraid to drop a "hello". in university, you'll find that a lot of your old friends will change, or perhaps you'll change while they remain the same, and it gets easy to have interests or views that don't match anymore. when that happens and you guys don't get along well anymore, don't be afraid of letting your friend go. unversity is a lot about change and discovering yourself, especially due to the freedom you have. university will also pass by quickly, so don't waste time just assuming you are going to specialize in X in your major, and that when you get out of uni, you're going to have Y as your job. spend some time really thinking about what you like, what you dislike, what kind of profession suits you...whether you are actually enjoying your major or not. you don't want to end up wasting 2, 3 years in a major that you know you don't want to stick to.

MAN THAT WAS LONG. AND THATS LIKE PROB ONLY A BRIEF SECTION of the convos LOOL!! now i think its kinda mazing how he can talk for so long and cover so much different content each time.

  2. and CONGRATS ON YOUR JOB!! <3

by the way....Division..did you listen to it yet?! =o
    lastly..
is your sister doing well in university?
my brother is probably doing decent in his studies, but he's flying in his co-op...no doubt he'll land a job when he gets out.. his current co-op is at this international company that have a bunch of branches in diff countries over the world..he told me he's gonna ask and try to apply to work for the company's branch in australia (so jelly! i've never been there). and hey apparently its good to be asian! his head or something told him that eventually, if he comes back to work for them when he graduates, they'll want to put him in the branch in China to improve their impression there. apparently they currently only have westerners working there, and they feel like their relations will be improved a lot of they can find someone who is Chinese and knows chinese.. and the best part is that he actually really enjoys work. i remember my mom asking him about how his job is, and he said although its really tiring, he really enjoys it because he learns so much and gets the chance to apply his studies in "real life".

in these kind of times i really look up to him, altho the other half of the times im doign retarded things like i remember the time when i was in elementary school and we were lying on his bed watching some videos (or anime? =o) and i couldnt stop laughing cuz his toes looks like grapes (if you look from the bottom of the feet, the "underneath" sides of the toes) LOL IS THAT REALLY WERID haha.

but what I REALLY WANTED TO GET TO..is
that im starting to feel pressured to meet the standards he reached. do you ever feel that way with your sis?

There i made up for not commenting in the longest time. :D

  3. sadly, i havent visited my blog much either and missed this. I totally LOL-ed at your last part, but yeah..i did feel the pressure from my sister..esp during IB. so when my result from IB wasnt that great compared to her...i was so sad, but she was there to comfort me.

right now, shes doing well, but liek what your brother said..shes really bored and just..not interested.
shes more interested in what shes minoring, which is english, so i think shes changing majors. taking asian films as well, and so cool!

hopefully, she'll figure out what she likes.

as for me, really different than what i thought. im disappointed i cant do film, but really glad im doing iat...just...brought up the idea of doing design...like packaging for products, like candies or like drinks? cus i always admire those japanese drinks...the cute design that encourages me to buy over priced green tea! haah xD
