Girl With A Pearl Earring

I can't really say how I feel, but I do love the movie. The music was wonderful, of course. Even though Scarlett Johansson's role didn't really speak much, that just made her even more captivating. Scarlett is just SO pretty! At first though, I thought Griet might be muted, but when she spoke...that was a shocker. Haha. Anyhow, I love the movie.

I wish they did give an epilogue on what happened with Griet and Pieter, but I guess that ending with the delivery of the 'gift' from Vermeer. Made it more mysterious. I guess we can say that Griet and Pieter are together since the house she was in seems more like her's and Pieter's rather than another house she's working at.

I love the movie. -sigh- I probably said that a lot, but I do love it! It was quite a slow one though. Things all happen slowly like how her relation developed with Pieter. Though, I thought it was quite sudden, how they...yeah. Since like, she always gave him slow replies and such. Left him hanging most of the time. The paint making and all the secrecy building was probably what I loved the most about the movie since they basically focused mainly on that. On they keep everything a secret, the little sparks that fly must be covered, etc.. There's good and bad, but yeah...once again, I do love the movie. The music~~ xD So mysterious and magical. Very enchanting.

Time for Wall-E and maybe a rewatch of The Other Boleyn Girl? I guess I love that time period...haha. Scarlett Johansson once more WITH Natalie Portman! Did I mention how I love the history about Henry VII? xD

About The Other Boleyn Girl, I wouldn't say it was bad, but I won't say it's the best. Of course, both Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson looks beautiful in the film, but I guess the film itself was...a little messy? Unlike Girl With A Pearl Earring, this movie had more dialogue, of course, and a little more 'action' (Love scenes). The hatred, jealousy and all that could be felt. I don't know how to say it, but I know it could be better. I love their costumes though and the eerie feeling during the execution.

Anywho, I shall continue my movie marathon. Haha~
